The collection published here as an ebook arose out of a workshop on the comparative study of Jews and Muslims held at Royal Holloway, University of London, on 22-23 April 2006. The gathering was funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council, and organised by Professor Humayun Ansari and Professor David Cesarani, with the assistance of Ms June Jackson. It formed part of a larger AHRC funded project on the study of Jewish-Muslim relations.
